Meina J. Dubetz has been a stand for optimum health care delivery for almost 50 years. Beginning her career as a Patient Care Attendant at the age of 17, those summer months were pivotal having her realize her passion was in caring for others.
She is the author of When Death Comes Knocking for Your Patients which became #1 best seller on Amazon in both the US and Canada. Meina has also written articles in We can Die Better magazine. She is currently writing her second book, formulating an online course for those entering the corridor of Palliative care and sharing her experiences by speaking at conferences and workshops.
Meina began her professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1969 and continued with her Registered Nursing at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada in 1989. Her focus has always been in Palliative and Oncology care and has enhanced the care she gives her patients by obtaining her certification in Gerontology and Oncology. Hypnotherapy Certification and becoming a Reiki Master ensures that her connection with her patients and others is enhanced.
Patient comfort and support during their transition is Meina’s main focus and sharing her knowledge and experiences to enhance the learning of others is her goal.

Meina is married has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She continues to work casual shifts during the summer months in Calgary and lives in Phoenix, Arizona during the winter. She describes her life
